Say Senator Barau Jibrin deserves to be the next Senate president

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Kano state chapter chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, has said that Senator Barau Jibrin deserves to be the next Senate president in view of the tremendous support the electorate from Kano state gave to the party in the presidential and other elections
Alhaji Abbas said on Wednesday after a crucial meeting attended by party stakeholders in Kano that endorsing Senator Jibrin as the Senate President would make the APC to be reckoned with in the North West
His words: "our unflinching and unalloyed support given to the APC will not be in vain if our man, Senator Jibrin, assumes the leadership position as senate President.
According to him, Kano state tremendously gave APC victory in 2015, 2019 and now 2023, with the State producing the highest votes across the Federation, hence the need for the party to pave the way for the state to produce the Senate president
He said that Kano state deserves the Senate presidency while Senator Jibrin stands the best chance for the position.
