Fans rally to save Jaga jaga crooner, Eedris Abdul Kareem

Fans have launched a fund raising drive to save the life of Eedris Abdul Kareem, the Nigerian singer whose hit song, Jaga jaga, struck the chord among Nigerians during the administration of President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Eedris, the afrobeat artist, songwriter, singer and rapper, has been down with kidney failure.
A fan of his, M.I. Abaga, drew public attention to his condition on Wednesday in a post on his Twitter handle, @MI_Abaga.
He said: "I received the sad news yesterday that Nigerian music Icon @EedrisOriginal Eedris Abdul Kareem has been battling with Kidney failure and needs our help. I will share the information below in the following tweets.. please share and support as you can."
He followed it up with another post in which he launched a fundraising drive: SAVE EEDRIS ABDUKARIM NOW!!!
"Our brother has been diagnosed with Kidney Failure and requires surgery URGENTLY!!! We Have A Donor in His Family…. The Hospital has fixed 27th July 2022 for this Emergency
